Free vs Pro¶
BimBeau Privacy Analytics is available in Free and Pro editions. Both editions are built around the same core goal: helping WordPress site owners understand website traffic while keeping analytics local and privacy-aware.
This page explains the main differences in user-facing terms.

BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free¶
BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free focuses on essential analytics for WordPress websites.
It is designed for site owners who want to monitor the most important traffic indicators without setting up a complex analytics platform.
With BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free, you can use reports such as:
- dashboard overview;
- top pages;
- referrers;
- traffic sources;
- search terms;
- 404 errors;
- devices;
- country-level geolocation reports;
- real-time activity;
- visitors;
- privacy and tracking settings.
Expected result
BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free is enough if your main need is to understand aggregate website activity directly from WordPress.
BimBeau Privacy Analytics Pro¶
BimBeau Privacy Analytics Pro adds advanced reporting, workflow, and customization features.
It is designed for users who need more detailed analysis, export workflows, event tracking, or app-like access to their analytics.
Pro features include:
- analytics exports;
- page details;
- city geolocation reports and map markers;
- event tracking and event configuration;
- content analytics in WordPress content lists and the editor;
- dedicated PWA Stats App;
- white-label admin header controls;
- deeper reporting surfaces when licensed features are active and the required data is available.
Good to know
Pro features require an active license or account connection before they appear in your WordPress admin area. In the Free runtime, Pro-only report surfaces and controls are hidden instead of being exposed as disabled placeholders.
Interface customization¶
Interface customization is a Pro feature.
Pro users can enable a white-label admin header that hides the BimBeau Privacy Analytics logo and displays the localized analytics title. Pro users can also customize panel visibility; Dashboard and Settings remain visible, and hiding a panel does not delete historical analytics data. Free displays every functionally available Free panel without a locked control or teaser.
Geolocation differences¶
Geolocation reporting is available in both editions, but the available depth differs between Free and Pro.
Free users can access privacy-aware country-level geolocation aggregate reports.
Pro users can access city geolocation reports, including the Cities tab, city lists, and city map markers when usable city coordinates are available.
Real-time differences¶
The Real-time report is available in both editions, but its map and visitor table respect the location detail available to each edition.
The map displays a country choropleth, with countries shaded according to recent activity and no precise geographic markers. The visitor table does not display the City column. Country data remains available when it can be determined.
The map displays precise markers when valid enriched coordinates are available, and the visitor table can display the City column when the collection context permits city data. If coordinates are missing, invalid, or unavailable under essential-only collection, the map automatically falls back to the country choropleth.
Visitors report differences¶
The Visitors report is available in BimBeau Privacy Analytics, but the level of detail depends on the data available and the tracking configuration.
When only essential tracking data is available, visitor details remain intentionally limited. Some enriched fields may appear as private or unavailable.
When advanced tracking is enabled and allowed by your consent setup, BimBeau Privacy Analytics can provide deeper visitor-level information when the required signals are available.
Exports¶
Exports are a Pro feature.
BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free does not show export controls in the Free report runtime. BimBeau Privacy Analytics Pro users can use the download actions on supported reports to export analytics data for external analysis, reporting, archiving, or sharing with stakeholders.
Important
Exports can contain analytics data from your website. Handle exported files according to your privacy policy and internal data handling rules.
Events¶
Events are a Pro feature.
Events help you track specific actions or interactions, such as clicks, page views matching a target pattern, form submissions, or other configured behaviors depending on your setup.
Use Events when you want to measure more than page views and visits.
Page details¶
Page Details is a Pro feature.
It helps you analyze individual pages more deeply, including detailed time series and page-specific engagement views when the required data is available.
In BimBeau Privacy Analytics Free, Pages rows remain aggregate report rows and do not expose Page Details links or locked Page Details placeholders.
Which edition should you use?¶
You want essential WordPress analytics, local reporting, privacy-aware defaults, and a simple dashboard for everyday traffic monitoring.
You need exports, event tracking, page-level analysis, city-level geolocation, app access, editor analytics, white-label admin header controls for professional reporting workflows.
